Airtel has launched a new Rs. There are recharge plans of Rs 519 and 779 with some benefits for subscribers. The Rs. 779 prepaid top-up plan is valid for 90 days while the Rs. 519 plan is valid for 60 days. With both plans, users get 1.5GB of 4G data per day, as well as unlimited local, STD and roaming calls in India. The telco is also offering a three-month Apollo 24/7 Circle subscription for free with a top-up of Rs 519 or Rs 779.
The new prepaid recharge plans are listed on the Airtel website. The Rs 519 and Rs 779 recharge plans are valid for 60 and 90 days respectively. Both top-up plans offer the same benefits. With the new recharge plan, users get 1.5 GB of 4G data per day and 100 SMS per day. They also offer unlimited local, STD and roaming calling on any network in India.
Subscribers can get a three-month membership to Apollo 24/7 Circle for free with Airtel’s Rs 519 and Rs 779 recharge plans. The new plan also offers Rs 100 cashback on FASTag recharges, free hello tunes and a subscription to Wink Music. After the daily quota is exhausted, the browsing speed will drop to 64 KBps, top up Rs. 519 and Case 779.
Recently, Airtel competitor Jio launched a prepaid recharge plan that offers users recharge benefits worth Rs 2,999. The top-up plan is called “2999 Independence Offer 2022”. With a top-up of Rs 2,999, eligible subscribers stand a chance to get coupons for 75GB data, Netmeds, AJIO and Ixigo.
Airtel recently announced that its average revenue per user, a key performance indicator, rose to Rs. 183 rupees, compared to 146 rupees a year ago. The same metric for Reliance Jio in the same quarter is said to be Rs. 175.7. Mobile data consumption also rose by 16.6%, the carrier said, while consumption per user was 19.5 GB per month.
