Tech company Kodak TV has partnered with Google TV for the Indian market to launch the high-end Matrix QLED series starting at Rs 33,999. The new Matrix QLED TVs are available in three different sizes – 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch as a Big Billion Days Sale (BBD) special on Flipkart.
Avneet Singh Marwah, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd (SPPL), the official manufacturer of Kodak TVs, said in an official statement: “We are proud to be recognised as one of the premium Smart TV brands in the history of India. New technologies are introduced to the market, and we believe this introduction will prove to be a game-changer for the technology’s future.”
He added: “We are delighted to add Kodak’s new variant to the Matrix range as a result of our investment in technology research in India. With the 65-inch model, we will be a strong contender in the premium QLED Smart TV segment.”
These TVs have enhanced sound with DTS TruSurround Sound, a QLED 4K display with 1.1 billion colors, Dolby MS12, HDR 10+, and 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
It will also be the first Indian manufacturing company in the country to launch a QLED TV using Google TV, SPPL said.
With built-in Google Assistant, Kodak TVs offer a large screen for Chromecast video conferencing, documents and built-in apps like YouTube Learning and Google Classroom to aid learning and upgrades.
