On Monday, Unacademy, the leading education technology platform, launched 50 new education channels on YouTube, which is owned by Google. Some of these new channels feature existing content categories from Unacademy, as well as new sections like “Tick Tock Tax” to simplify the concept of direct and indirect taxes, and life after IIT – a success story of cracking JEE and top ranking Sinha The platform, Unacademy COO Unacademy also announced a partnership with GATE Academy, which will give all GATE applicants access to high-quality content in the category.
The edtech platform said Umesh Dhande has joined the Unacademy platform as Vice President Academic, GATE and ESE. Education channels cover post-graduate segments such as NEET-UG and JEE, UPSC, and broad categories such as Bank, SSC, and Defense.
Founded in 2015 by Gaurav Munjal, Hemesh Singh and Roman Saini, Unacademy has an ever-expanding network of over 91,000 registered educators and over 99 million learners providing education in over 14 Indian languages. Unacademy is also experimenting with opening sports centers across the country as the online education space shrinks.
