WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to create polls in chat. Currently, the feature is said to be in the works that will allow WhatsApp group members to share polls with other members of the group. WABetaInfo reports that up to 12 options can still be added, but the value may change before the feature is released
This feature is under development and cannot be released to beta testers yet.
According to the report, the entry point for the feature will be available in the usual chat action sheet, where you will find all the other media sharing options and open the section we discovered during the development of the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.11.
A recent report indicated that WhatsApp may be working on a feature that will add a new camera shortcut to its app for iPhone users.
The screenshots show that the camera shortcut is placed in the navigation bar, visible to users who will already be able to create communities in the future.
It appears to be the same as implemented in WhatsApp Beta for Android (but it was temporarily removed in another update due to a bug), the report says.
