YouTube is a platform owned by Google that allows creators to respond to fans’ comments on their videos with short clips on iOS devices.
The company said it heard requests from creators to allow them to post comments posted on its channel within the short-video app’s content.

The update is rolling out now and will be available to all short film creators on iOS in the coming weeks, with Android coming in the future.
The company said it is also considering ideas such as notifying reviewers when their comments are highlighted.

The company will also release its short films on its smart TV platform called YouTube TV.
YouTube TV also plans to let viewers watch up to four live streams simultaneously through a new feature called “Mosaic Mode” and a new “Edit to Short” tool for its iOS and Android apps.
